Brianna Kratz was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she grew up walking to the library and traveling on public transportation to the local museums. After attaining a Bachelors degree in English-Writing from Illinois Wesleyan University, Brianna pursued a professional career in student affairs in higher education.
Brianna’s accomplishments include receiving the Girl Scout Gold Award and writing over 1000 poems during the course of her Poem-A-Day Project. Brianna occasionally collaborates with filmmaker Andrew Gingerich on Lens & Ink, providing written material for poem films.
Brianna is a Masters of Education graduate of the Student Affairs in Higher Education program at Marquette University.
